Sad eyes is a about a teenage girl who will grow up with special powers becasue of the abuse she received as a preteen. She overcomes depression and shame. It’s a story about second chances and new beginnings. The story is set in a mythical kingdom. But make no mistake the trauma, pain, and wounds are real. The eyes are the windows into a persons soul. You can hide your pain through silence but your eyes always reveal what’s going on inside your heart. What do people see through or in your eyes?
